Zutaten
  

  • 600 g halal beef chunks
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • cups halal beef broth
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Brown beef in olive oil and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic.
  3. Add spices and tomato paste.
  4. Return beef and add broth. Simmer 25–30 minutes.
  5. Add rice and cook covered 18–20 minutes.
  6. Rest 10 minutes and fluff.

Notizen

Do not stir rice while cooking. Let it rest covered before serving for best texture.
