Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon

Tender pan-seared salmon cooked in garlic butter and finished with fresh lemon juice and zest. A healthy, quick family dinner ready in 25 minutes.

Zutaten
  

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Method
 

  1. Remove salmon from fridge 10–15 minutes before cooking. Pat dry and season evenly.
  2. Heat skillet over medium heat. Melt butter.
  3. Add garlic and sauté 30–40 seconds without browning.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down. Cook 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook 3–4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 63°C.
  5. Reduce heat. Add lemon juice and zest. Spoon butter over salmon. Garnish and serve.

Notizen

Do not overcook. Salmon continues cooking slightly after removal from heat. Best served immediately.
