What Is Lamb Mandi?

Mandi is a traditional Arabian rice dish where meat is cooked slowly with warm spices and served over fragrant basmati rice.

The signature:

  • Deep spice aroma
  • Tender meat
  • Fluffy rice
  • Light creamy sauce on the side

Why This Recipe Works

  • Slow simmering makes lamb tender
  • Whole spices build aroma
  • Rice cooks in lamb broth
  • Yogurt sauce adds freshness

The key is cooking the lamb first until soft before adding the rice.
